Internet connections

Configuration software

If you use a Microsoft Windows operating system, the easiest way to configure (or reconfigure) your computer to connect to Cornwall Internet is to use our configuration software - see our Support Home Page for more information and to download the software.

Manual settings

If you do not use a Microsoft Windows operating system or you wish to set up your connection manually (see instructions below) you will need the following information to establish a connection to Cornwall Internet:

Login ID: Your login ID is your email address (or 'guest' if you do not have a Cornwall Internet email address).

Password: Your password is provided to you when you register for the Cornwall Internet dialup service. (If you use 'guest' as your username you should use 'guest' as your password as well.)

Dial up number: 0845 604 1620 - provides local call rate access to the Internet from BT fixed lines throughout the United Kingdom.

DNS Servers: Normally you set up your dialup connection so that DNS information is obtained automatically. If, however, you need to set this information manually you can use the following settings:

   Primary: 217.33.105.114
   Secondary: 217.33.105.115
